Chapter 1: Introduction to your account settings
Before you start scheduling, we recommend you establish your preferred account settings. To access your account settings, click on your profile in the bottom left hand corner menu and select 'My account’.
From your profile settings, you can make changes to your:
Name
Profile photo
Language
Default time zone
Your profile photo and name settings
Your default profile identifier is your initials. Your name setting will influence your default profile initials. You can replace your initials with a profile photo.
Your language settings
Doodle natively supports the following languages: English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. This setting will also affect date, time and number formats. Selecting English (United States) will show AM / PM formats and all others will show the 12 hour clock.
Time Preferences
In the Time Preferences section, you can set your local time zone and define your specific meeting hours to ensure you're only booked when you're actually available. These settings act as a global rule for your account, automatically applying your preferred schedule to all booking pages, notifications, and calendar events.
For more in depth details about available Time Preferences visit Setting your global time preferences.
Your default time zone is automatically matched to your computer and browser settings. We recommend confirming your default time zone prior to scheduling with Doodle.
When you create a Doodle event, it will be matched to your default time zone. When you send a Doodle invitation to someone in a different time zone from you, Doodle will automatically convert the invitation to their time zone based on the difference between their browser settings and your default time zone.
