Resources for utilizing your People Panel

The People tab is your window into your institution's academic network. It shows everyone you're connected with, helps you discover who you should meet, and gives you quick ways to reach out or schedule time with any of your peers.

What you'll find on the People panel

When you open the People panel, you see a list of your connections. Each person's card shows their name, profile photo (or initials), their role (Student, Instructor, Admin, or Super Admin), and the class or group to which they belong.

From each card you can:

  • Click 'Message' to open a direct message conversation.

  • Click 'Meet now' to book an instant meeting with a contact and send a calendar invite.

  • Click the ☆ star icon to bookmark the person for quick access.

  • Click ··· (the three-dot menu) to report a contact. Reports will be sent to the admins of your account.

Searching for someone

  1. Click the Search connections by name or email bar at the top of the page.

  2. Type the person's name or email address.
