Enterprise workspace and role management for account admins

Written by Kimberly Ford

An Enterprise subscription gives admins full control over who's in your workspace and what they can do. This guide walks you through adding and removing members, tracking their status, assigning roles, and organizing everyone into teams for easier scheduling.

Before you start

  • These actions are available to Admins and Super Admins of an Enterprise subscription.

  • Members with the Member role can use the subscription's features but can't manage users or teams.

Step-by-step guide

Access the Users and Teams tab

  1. Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner.

  2. Select Users and Teams.

Add members

  1. Click 'invite user' in the top right corner.

  2. Write or copy-paste multiple email addresses into the invitation field.

You can also import a CSV file with the email addresses of the people you want to add.

How users can log in

Instruct your members to sign up for Doodle if they haven't already. There are a few ways for members to log in:

  • Social logins – Members can log in with their Google, Microsoft, or Facebook credentials.

  • Email & password – A traditional login that requires the member to remember their password or store it in a password manager.

If a member doesn't see your subscription in their account after being invited, have them check their account settings under the billing tab to confirm the right subscription is selected from the dropdown.

Remove members

  1. Use the search field to locate the member you want to remove.

  2. Click the three vertical dots next to their name.

From here, you can:

  • Deactivate a member (a temporary measure)

  • Remove a member from the subscription

  • Delete a member's Doodle account entirely

Each option shows a confirmation box before the action is finalized.

Track and filter members

Under the Members tab, you can track the status of your membership invitations:

  1. Click Active to see members who've accepted their invitation.

  2. Click Inactive to see members who've been deactivated.

  3. Click Pending to see members who haven't yet responded to their invitation.

  4. Click All to see every member of the subscription, active or pending.

You can also filter by role and by team.

Assign user roles

User roles let you assign different levels of permission to your workspace members, so you can delegate administrative tasks.

  1. Click Active to see your active members.

  2. Click the three vertical dots next to the member's name.

  3. Select the role you want to assign.

The member will get an email letting them know about their new role.

  • Member: Has access to the subscription's features but no administrative rights - can't manage users or create teams.

  • Admin: Can invite and deactivate members, assign roles, and create or manage teams. Can't delete member accounts or manage billing.

  • Super Admin: Has all admin abilities, plus the ability to delete member accounts and manage subscription billing.

Create a team

Teams let you group members together so you can act on everyone at once - like assigning a whole team to a Booking Page for round robin scheduling, or inviting an entire team to a meeting in one step.

Only Admins and Super Admins can create and manage teams.

  1. Go to your account settings and select Users & Teams.

  2. Click the Teams tab.

  3. Click Create Team.

  4. Type a name for your team in the Team name field.

  5. Optionally, add a note in the Description field to explain the team's purpose.

  6. Click Create Team to save.

  7. On the team's details page, click Add member.

  8. Select the members you'd like to add, then click Add members.

Manage an existing team

From a team's details page, you can:

  • Remove a member: Click the trash icon next to their name, then confirm by clicking Remove.

  • Add a member: Click Add member.

  • Rename the team or edit its description: Click Rename team, update the fields, and click Save.

  • Delete the team: Click Delete team, then confirm.
